B&B in Beautiful Character house with Outstanding Views.

We have three double bedrooms with a bathroom and separate toilet for the use of our guests. The rental price quoted is £60 per double room per night. Please note 2 rooms £120 per night. 3 double rooms £180 per night inclusive of breakfast. This charge is for chambre d'hote not for the whole house. We live in the house and this is bed and breakfast per room per night. Fownhope is situated along a private lane leading from the picturesque hamlet of La Baleine, which boasts a lovely stone bridge over the river Sienne, a fine church and a very popular pub/restaurant. The house, which was fully renovated about 45 years ago, has a total of 7 bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over 3 floors. On the first floor, where the guest bedrooms are located, there are three double bedrooms with a bathroom and a separate toilet. On the ground floor there is a shower room for use by guests if they prefer from the bath. There are only three other properties in the lane which is in a conservation area. Just yards from the house the lane ends and continues as a footpath along the river. The whole area is served by a network of footpaths making it ideal for walkers. The pretty market town of Gavray is just 5 minutes away by car and has a supermarket, banks, shops, pharmacy, and restaurants.
