This antique farmhouse is truly special. Spacious & newly furnished in Aug ‘21 with all new high end furniture + hotel quality linens. 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths. Kitchen w/ two high top tables/stools for quick, casual meals (each table seats 4), 2 living rooms (one with a desk for guests who need to work). 3rd floor loft w/ Smart TV, giant bean bag chairs, pool table + a 6 person poker table & chairs. Incredible, private backyard. Large wraparound porch with seating — perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Hadley Hill, like its sister property Araminta in Newport RI, is a great home away from home. Both properties are special places to stay and have their unique charms. Hadley Hill is a historic home located in the desirable Georgetown section of Wilton, one minute from some of the top restaurants in Fairfield County. The upside: Incredibly charming antique home, appointed with the best furniture, lighting, linens etc. Fantastic location, gorgeous property. 3rd floor bonus room has two huge bean bag chairs with foot stools and Roku TV w/ Chromecast— a perfect hang out space. Washer/dryer in basement. Second set of stairs leading to the kitchen for sneaking down for a midnight snack. Two car detached garage. New electric, windows and roof. The downside (every house has them): Two bathrooms: one full bathroom is on 1st floor and one full bathroom is on 2nd floor (where the four bedrooms are). One of the 4 bedrooms is small but still big enough for a double bed and closet. The house had all new windows installed on 11/8/21 so now we need to paint the outside window trim but painters said to wait until spring weather. 8 people maximum including children. No air mattresses or guests sleeping on sofa or bean bag chairs, etc. No smoking or pets. No exceptions. Do not move furniture. We have all of the basic kitchen supplies but the kitchen space is not really set up for preparing and serving elaborate meals so please keep that in mind when booking. Hadley Hill is an adorable 1750 farmhouse but if you don’t like antique homes, then this won’t be the place for you. The hardwood floors might creak in spots and the house is on well water so you’ll need to stagger showers if there’s a lot of you. But if you do appreciate antique homes with their charm and quirks then this will be the perfect home for your getaway!
