Charming quiet tiny home (400SF) nestled on a private road. House is situated on a private road on a hill which offers great privacy and peace and quiet surrounded by trees. Car parking is on the bottom of the house and requires 15 steps to walk up to the home. Perfect location for couples, writers, singles looking for a city escape as well as travelers interested in a well rounded NYC get away where both country and city can be found within a 1 hour car ride. House has great natural yard that includes lounge chairs, table and bbq grill surrounded by trees which affords plenty of privacy and a great hideaway for bird enthusiasts. The home has heat as well as a Wood burning stove. Greenwood Lake is only 41 miles north west of the George Washington Bridge but fills all the senses with the country life. The Appalachian Trail can be accessed in a 5 minute car ride or the more daring hikers, The lake is walking distance from the house, However the beautiful Public beach that allows BBQ's and swimming is a 2 minute Car ride from the house. And has parking. The house has 1 full queen size bed in a private bedroom, there is also a very comfy pull out bed couch in the living room. Summertime affords seasonal blossoms with lavender bushes which attract a variety of butterflys. Enjoy the deck, private yard, outdoor fire pit, and grill. Indoor comfort includes wood burning stove, sofa, TV with built in DVD player, classic books, board games and cards. Greenwood Lake hosts free concerts and events at the town beach every weekend during the summer. The lake is home to many fish including large mouth bass, muskies, and small mouth bass in addition to Chain Pickerel, Yellow Perch, Bluegills, and Walleye. There are also good populations of catfish. It is rated among New Jersey's top 3 Largemouth bass waters. Experienced boaters can rent pontoon boats from South Shore Marina. And if ice fishing is your thing, it is a favorite Winter sport here. For winter enthusiasts, Greenwood Lake is surrounded by three family & fun friendly ski lodges: 1. Mountain Creek - Vernon NJ - 15 miles 2. Tuxedo Ridge - Sterling Forest NY - 7 miles (website hidden). Peter - Warwick NY - 6 miles The town of Warwick offers the small town shopping experience of a main street filled with boutiques, antiquing, cafes & independent book stores. Local activities include wineries, Rennaissance Faire, ski resorts, spa's & golf. For those who love to shop, Woodbury Commons is only a 20 minute drive. Winter will require 4 wheel drive to get up the hill. The home is not a manicured property, leaves, branches and the like will be found around the property.
