Charming Posh Chalet in Meribel

Summary: Welcome to the charming posh chalet in Meribel, French Alps. The chalet is ideal for 2 families or smaller groups of adults. It sleeps 12 in total but it is best suited to a maximum of 8 guests. This is a small block of six apartments. Ski Vive’s is the first one that visitors see. The remainder are offset giving the appearance that our apartment is an individual chalet. The layout and service level mean you will not notice you are in an apartment rather than an individual chalet. The Space: The entrance floor is the main living area. This light, high ceilinged room has stunning views up to Mont Vallon and a spacious south facing balcony which benefits from the afternoon and evening sun. The kitchen is separate but open plan to the dining room and soft seating area. On this level there is a shower room with wc. The ground floor has 2 ensuite rooms which can be made up as doubles or twins. One of these rooms has 2 additional beds on a raised platform suitable for small children. The upper floor has limited headroom (1.8m) This floor has 3 bedrooms, a double with sink, a twin which can be made as a double and a small bunk room suitable for children or as a nice single room for an adult. Additionally, there is a family bathroom and a separate toilet. Getting Around: Situated in the department of Savoie in the Rhone-Alpes region, Meribel can be easily reached from Chambery and Geneva airports followed by a 1hr15 and 2hrs15 drive respectively. Eurostar trains from London and TGV trains from Paris stop at Moutiers, around a 45 minute drive from Meribel.
