The establishment: Camping La Chanterelle *** is located in Champagnac Le Vieux, a charming village in the heart of the Massif Central. Next to a lake of 3 hectares, the campsite offers a wide range of activities. Depending on the season you can swim in the lake (swimming monitoring in July and August), fishing from April to October, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking; Evenings and animations are organized in July-August. The proximity of the river Allier also allows to practice all water sports (canoeing, rafting etc.). For the more adventurous of ponting (swinging jump), tree climbing (adventure trail in the forest). During your stay do not forget to taste typical Auvergne dishes such as aligot, truffle, hotpot etc. A snack bar and a mini grocery store open in the summer. Housing: Canvas bungalow of 20m² for 4 people, mounted on a wooden floor of 10 cm thick, composed of a dining area with an equipped kitchenette, a sleeping area with a side 1 double bed and the other 2 simple. Note: the bungalow has no sink or sanitary. Free access to the sanitary block of the campsite. This atypical accommodation is a good compromise between the comfort of a mobile home and the true values of camping, close to nature.
