Tucked away in a bucolic part of New Jersey, Bluebird Farm Alpacas is a destination brimming with charm and relaxation. After driving through the meandering main thoroughfare of town, Willow Avenue beckons you with an expanse of rolling pastures, vintage historic homes and a true sense of peace. Guests quickly realize once they have entered the farm drive with classic red barns and a herd of alpacas plonking behind white fenced pastures, this will not be an ordinary stay. Situated on the top floor of a newly built stand alone event barn, the completely private barn and suite features a double occupancy bedroom, full bath and kitchenette with Keurig coffee maker (coffee and tea pods are included), refrigerator and stainless steel sink. There is also a catering kitchen available in the main event space for those guests that plan an extended stay. Luxury linens adorn the king sized bed. A natural light filled seating area occupies one end of the bedroom, allowing for maximum relaxation as the herd of alpacas graze in the pastures below. A modern farmhouse aesthetic featuring imported vintage rugs, hardwood floors as well as bold industrial touches throughout the barn lend to the upscale rustic interiors awaiting your stay. Spend your mornings sipping a coffee or tea of your choice on the first floor balcony overlooking pastures and, seasonal flower gardens. As the day awakens, enjoy the peaceful sounds of Bluebird Farm - birds singing, native tree leaves rustling and the occasional hum of the alpacas as they graze in the fields below. Bluebird Farm is the ideal spot for relaxing and walking. Nearby, Natirar, a 500 acres park is a mecca for hiking, bird watching and picnicking. The spectacular country roads are a dream for cyclists of all levels. Enjoy Burnt Mills Cider Company in Bedminster, farms for seasonal berry, pumpkin or apple picking, (Melick Orchard, Dogwood Farms, Ort Farms, Hacklebarny Farms Cider Mill, Alstede Farms) and antique shopping in Chester, Mendham, Somerville or Morristown, all a short drive from the farm. Numerous dinning choices are only minutes away. Coco Luxe Bakery, Gladstone Market and Deli, Gladstone Tavern, Café Azzuro, Café Sapori are popular casual eateries within the close vicinity of our farm. 90 Acres, a spectacular fine dining farm to table experience, is available via reservation. As an amenity of your stay in The Barn Suite at Bluebird Farm Alpacas, you be able to get to know our alpaca herd through an informative farm tour and halter training, where you are able to walk an alpaca through pastures and hedgerows. As a guest of Bluebird Farm Alpacas, you can choose to spend as much or as little time as you wish with the alpacas. Bluebird Farm is also the perfect venue to host intimate events.
