The cabin is situated in Fjærland, which is the village at the heart of the Fjærlandsfjord. Here you get spectacular views of beautiful nature consisting of fjord, mountains and glaciers. For the fishing enthusiast, there are good opportunities for trout fishing in the river just near the cabin (about 1.5 kilometers away). For more nature experiences, there is a short distance to Jostedalsbreen National Park where you among others can participate in guided glacier walks. It is also recommended to visit The Norwegian Glacier Museum in Fjærland.
