Camerano is a small district in the province of Asti, close to a Natural Protected Area stretching out on three valleys and offering various trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The Monferrato is the area of Piedmont which includes the provinces of Alessandria (58 Km), Asti (20 Km) and it’s renowned for its landscape rich in castles and vineyards, with fascinating towns, excellent wines and many delicacies. Various local festivals enliven the territory all year round: the Palio of Asti in September the Siege of Canelli (45 Km) in June and the Truffle fair at the end of October in Moncalvo (25 Km). For castle enthusiasts we suggest Costigliole d’Asti (38 Km), with its famous castle built before the XI century and the Castle of Burio (40 Km), dating back to the XIV century. Between September and October, during the grape harvest, you may attend themed weekends organized by the wine makers to spend your day in the vineyards and enjoy the evening with an exquisite dinner with local wines and traditional dishes.
