The houseowners has a wooden carpentry shop with store. If you like to fish it is only a short walk down to the river Gudbrandsdalslågen. The place is also a perfect starting point for hiking in the mountains. It is only a short distance to Ringebu with shops. If you like to go skiing, you can drive to Kvitfjell 30 min away. This location can also be a good starting point for rafting in the river Sjoa. In the summer house owners have pilgrims on their way to Trondheim overnight in another house. The bird interest is great and you'll see the many bird houses on the wall of the buildings. The place also has it`s own kitchen garden with fresh organic salad and berries.
