Tarrytown is a historic village on the eastern bank of the Hudson River, just 35 minutes by train north of New York City. The downtown shopping district is just down the hill from our house, and is full of funky shops and restaurants, from fast-casual to fine dining to the farm to table. Plenty of restaurants, parks, bike trails, and even two kayak launches riverside.
