A magnificent Ring, made with 925 Silver and featuring a stunning Natural 2ct Chinese Peridot with 2 amazing Alexandrites. Peridot is the August Birthstone and it is associated with the Zodiac signs of Leo, Libra and Gemini. Peridot activates the Heart Chakra and Solar Plexus Chakra and is thought to increase the energy of love, happiness and prosperity, bring peace to relationships and release negative emotions. In ancient Egypt Peridot was called ”the gem of the sun” and used as amulets and in tombs to ward off evil spirits. The Romans appreciated Peridot for its brilliant shine that does not fade under artificial light, calling it the “evening emerald.” Often described as “Emerald by day, Ruby by night,” Alexandrite is a rare variety of the mineral chrysoberyl that changes colour from bluish green in daylight to purplish red under incandescent light. Due to its scarcity, Alexandrite is more valuable than most other Gemstones, including Rubies and Diamonds.
