MAST/BOOM Original Fitment (FranceSpar). Mast / spreaders resprayed (2 pack PU) and all fittings serviced/replaced during 2020 refit. New internal conduit with all new tinned wire cables and new masthead flights and fittings.
Security ‘Granny Bars’ are fitted as standard.
Current configuration has topping lift, vang, main halyard, reefing lines and tweakers led back to cockpit through 5-way deck organisers to coachroof clutches. Foresail and spinnaker halyards are still operated from the mast. A twin mainsheet system has replaced the coachroof mounted traveller originally installed for added security with mainsheets led back to cockpit through 6:1 block system and coach-roof mounted cam cleats.
A 5mm thickness stainless steel mast plate of own design was fabricated and installed at the mast base to provide attachment for blocks for better sheet/halyard/rope management.

WINCHES All winches have been serviced and maintained as necessary and are in excellent working condition. Chrome plating has been compromised on some winches but is purely aesthetic, and does not affect functionality in any way.

STANDING RIGGING Stainless steel 1x19 as per original spec, swaged to Selden turnbuckles and terminals. All replaced during 2020 refit (Masts and Rigging – Dunleer Ireland) together with all nacelles and mast fittings. Professionally tuned by Thierry Phelippeau of ACTS, who is the go-to guy in Les Sables D’Olonne, who did most of the Golden Globe Race boat rigging.

JIB FURLER SELDEN FURLEX 300S with furling line led back to cockpit. Unknown age. Fully serviced during 2020 refit

BACKSTAY Original fitment Barbarossa Tensioner - untouched once mast- prebend was set.

RUNNING RIGGING Assortment of old and new , mostly replaced in the last two seasons and as required. Quantity of older but serviceable jib sheets and assorted cordage - bagged and stored aft lockers. Steel rope inner forestay (not deployed) and spare jib halyard at mast.


SAILS Mainsail NORTH 3DL (2015?) HD Laminate Cruising Sail with Taffetta UV
Protection. 3 reefing points. Bought 2nd Hand in ‘as new’ unused condition in 2021. Originally off a J111, the sail has dimensions that fit the Sun Fizz mast/boom and was fitted with Rutgerson Batt Cars by Michael Ennis, of Skettrick Sails, N.Ireland. No other modification was necessary, although the top batten does kiss the backstay as the sail swing past the centreline.

SPRAYHOOD By previous owners. Twin arch, stainless frame. Low profile for clear line of sight above top whilst standing in cockpit. Age unknown but a new cover was installed in March 2022. Great condition


TENDER Sun Sport SF240 Slatted floor inflatable dinghy with seat and oars. Us ed. Great condition. Includes galvanised grappling hook anchor 5kg with short chain leader and 10m braided polyester rode.

OUTBOARD Mercury 2.5hp 2-stroke outboard motor – used – estimated 100 hrs great condition. Recent new impeller and anode.


ELECTRICAL 12 VOLTS DC
ENGINE BATTERY
Qty 1 of 12V 80AH car type battery dedicated solely for engine starting. Charged directly from engine alternator (which is not feeding/charging anything else). A portable C-Tek 12V 7A intelligent mains charger is included should the engine battery need to be charged from a 220V ac mains source. (Shore power or 220V supply from 3kW house inverter).

HOUSE BANK QTY 4 of 6V, 220AH, forklift type AGM deep cycle batteries in Series/Parallel connection for 2-banks /12V 440AH total capacity. Located in starboard battery box in quarter berth. Each bank is fused through 500A fuses mounted as close as possible to the batteries. These feed through a 1/OFF/2/BOTH isolation/ paralleling switch to the main house bus bars in starboard equipment room through a shunt on negative busbars for battery monitor. Charged by solar or 220V /12V chargers as below.

SOLAR Qty 2 of JA Solar 750W (375W each) in series connection. Rigidly mounted on transom rails with a stainless steel frame solar arch of own design and construction. 2P isolators located in technical area behind shower bulkhead.

CHARGER 1 Qty 1 VICTRON ENERGY 100/50 MPPT solar charge controller with Bluetooth comms for monitoring through mobile phone app. Located in technical area behind shower bulkhead.

BATTERY MONITOR CRUZ PRO VAH-65 intelligent monitor that can monitor up to three batteries. Configurable to alarm if current or voltages are not as they should be. Digital backlit display for current or voltage. Mounted on main panel at nav desk.

WATER HEATER Qty 1 20 Litre Stainless Steel QUICK calorifier/water heater with 220V ac/800W immersion heating element on dedicated breaker in ac distribution section in main panel at nav desk. Installed in technical compartment behind shower bulkhead.
NB: Engine coolant loop not connected.

PLUMBING
TANKAGE Qty 3 x 100L VETUS bladder tanks located in lined locker spaces in both quarter berths and below saloon sofa to port. Flush stainless- steel fill-ports on transom connect to two tanks individually and the third fills from the three-way valved-manifold under the galley sink.

POTABLE An automatic self-priming pump (Parmac) powers all cold water taps WATER through an activated charcoal taste/odour filter. All pipework to the pump is in clear braided PE piping secured with hose clips. The outlet from the pump is through PEX barrier pipe with compression type fittings to all faucets and to the water heater, which returns hot water through same specification layout. A spare pump is included.

WATER MAKER Old school ( all manual) Aquaforce 60 litres/minute with top quality CAT piston high pressure pump. Membranes are more than 2 years old and the last batch of water we produced was around 500ppm.

BLACK WATER Qty 1 x Jabsco Twistlock manual pump toilet with seat
Qty 1 x 25 litre VETUS PE black water tank installed in the space above the toilet and plumbed in odour resistant sanitary hose to allow for discharge overboard or into the tank through a 3 way L- port valve (TRUDESIGN). A flush-mounted stainless steel suction port is installed on deck to permit easy emptying at marinas. A manual whale sanitary pump allows manual pumping in both directions.

GREY WATER Qty 1 self-priming diaphragm pump WHALE GULPER (pneumatic foot switch; Fused at main panel) allows emptying overboard of shower water.

BILGE WATER Any water entering the hull through the stern gland or any spills in engine compartment is led to a small strum box which holds a float- switch operated RULE bilge pump that empties overboard at the stern quarter of the boat. Any other water in the boat will eventually pool close to the companion-way steps which is served a manual bilge pump operated from the port side of the helm position, the lever for which is stored under the port stern locker lid.
