«Yakuza Angel» is a photo book trilogy edited and supervised by Oniroku Dan with photography by Takashi Yamaguchi.

The 1971 series was issued in collaboration with Haga Publishing, and published same year as the duo’s equally astounding photo book Bondage Fantasy.

Regarded as one of Oniroku’s finest works in print, «Yakuza Angel» is an articulated and focused work that broadens the photo book format. The title comes with exceptional graphic design and layout.

Like most of Oniroku Dan’s art book productions of the late 1960s and 1970s, this trilogy is in form and art a pioneering work.
