We are now looking for a curious and solution-oriented Electronics Engineer. You will be joining a team of Electronics Engineers and work closely with committed and skilled colleagues across different projects and disciplines. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
As an Electronics Engineer at AutoStore, you will work broadly across projects and products within our R&D department in Nedre Vats and Oslo (Lysaker). You will have the opportunity to build new PCBs, design analog and digital circuits, and test and validate these designs hands-on. You will work closely with firmware and compliance teams, as well as mechanical engineers, on electromechanical design. A high focus on cost optimization, and manufacturability in the design process is required. This development-focused role allows you to contribute to new products and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will also include
- Design, implement, review, and test solutions for our product portfolio
- Participate in delivering products with a strong focus on quality
- Support production and service departments with sustaining tasks
- Redesign and improve existing products
- Ensure that all designs comply with the required industry standards and regulations
YOUR PROFILE
For this role, we are looking for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics or a related field, a few years of experience and a strong drive to learn and grow their expertise. To thrive in this role, we believe it is important you have experience with design for assembly and have worked closely with production. You are motivated by contributing to innovative solutions across diverse projects and disciplines
It is also beneficial if you have
- Experience with microcontrollers and MCU hardware design
- Practical skills in lab work, hands-on product development, and prototyping
- Knowledge of motor design, motor drive design, EMC, and cable design
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
