At Fitjeans, we are on a mission to spread the wonderful feeling of a perfect fit to customers

around the world. We offer tailor-made jeans to over 127 countries and have grown

rapidly since our inception in 2018 with over 500,000 satisfied customers and an annual turnover of over 100 million NOK. We are now looking for a Country Manager for Norway who will establish and develop our presence in the market. You will have the

opportunity to build a new venture from scratch and shape the company's future in Norway!


Job Duties

In the role of Country Manager, you will have an independent and varied area of responsibility, including

the following tasks:


● Digital platform and website development:

○ Manage and further develop the Norwegian website on Shopify.

○ Example: Optimize the user experience and implement new features to increase the

conversion rate.


● Inventory and Logistics:

○ Develop, roll out and refine the inventory management solution in Norway.

○ Example: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure efficient inventory management and fast

order processing.


● Expansion strategy:

○ Lead the expansion both online and in physical stores.

○ Example: Prepare plans for the launch of physical stores and develop

marketing campaigns.


● Team and business development:

○ Build and develop a local team with responsibility for marketing and sales development.

○ Responsibility for own P&L and financial performance for the region.


● Business development:

○ Establish and further develop new business areas and strategic partnerships in the

Norwegian market.


Qualifications

Must-have qualifications:

● Relevant education (bachelor or master) and documented experience in e-commerce, digital

platform development, retail or market development.

● Experience with website administration and further development, preferably with Shopify.

● Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a team from scratch.

● Documented experience with financial management and responsibility for your own P&L.

● Good Norwegian language skills, both written and oral, as well as good English skills.

● Proactive, independent and result-oriented – you enjoy taking initiative and owning processes.

● Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

● Mandatory attendance at the office at Youngstorget on Mesh – physical presence is a

requirement.


Nice-to-have qualifications:

● Experience with logistics and inventory management, preferably from the retail or e-commerce sector.

● Experience with launching and operating physical stores.

● Experience from building new markets or start-up environments.
