Intertek Caleb Brett Norway A/S is seeking an Inspector/Surveyor

The role of an Inspector at Intertek Caleb Brett is impartial and independent. We assist both buyers and sellers in trading oil and other products. We are involved in the entire process—from the quantity to be imported, to sample collection and determining the final content after the transaction.

The job primarily consists of inspection tasks related to sample collection, as well as quantity and quality control during loading/unloading of LPG/LNG/chemicals/oil products. The main work locations will be at Equinor's land facilities at Mongstad, Kårstø, and Sture.

As an inspector, you will prepare all documents related to the process, so it is important that you can handle this professionally.

Who we are looking for:

Since the position is highly specialized, we provide the necessary training. However, you must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and your math skills and IT knowledge should be at a good level. Your analytical abilities must also be strong, as each task requires extensive planning with many stakeholders involved.

What we expect form you:

• Work in shift rotation (day, night, and weekends) – two weeks on, two weeks off.
• Have presence and integrity that ensures adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Work independently and plan your own tasks.
• Enjoy both outdoor and indoor work—both practical and administrative tasks.
• Practical experience in the oil and gas industry or shipping, knowledge of the transport and handling of oil and chemical products (an advantage but not a requirement).
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken. Conversational in Norwegian.
• A valid driver’s license for passenger cars.

Location: Remote 
We have an office in Rong. Where you live is not crucial – we are looking for the right candidate for the position.
