Kongsberg Maritime’s Automation & Control (KM A&C) division are market leaders in maritime and offshore automation and safety products. The A&C Program Management Office (PMO) provide professional services and support for our customer delivery projects within planning, controlling and the coordination of life-cycle information relating to all technical products delivered and commissioned at customer installations. 

 

PMO Automation & Control is actively seeking a new LCI Coordinator to strengthen our LCI team. You will work alongside other members of the PMO, and with project managers and KM technical delivery teams. Your role is to be an important hub of contact for people involved in the delivery project, and you will be working closely with both KM’s engineers and customers project staff, together ensuring quality and safety through the timely and correct completion of LCI tasks. 

 

As a LCI Coordinator your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • Coordinate and oversee tasks related to the creation, amendment, control, and formal handover of technical information throughout the project. 

  • Plan, monitor, and report progress of LCI activities throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Advise, support, and assist KM Project Managers in following up on the status of LCI tasks, ensuring compliance with customer quality requirements and delivery deadlines. 

  • Implement efficient methods and routines for managing LCI deliverables in collaboration with other project team members. 

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to project members regarding LCI requirements. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical and/or commercial higher education (minimum bachelor's level). Relevant and proven experience can compensate for formal education. 

  • Previous knowledge or experience with LCI requirements and standards is an advantage. 

  • Familiarity with industry-standard archive- and document management systems is an advantage. 

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal.
