First we built Norway’s leading online grocery store and now, partnered with Mathem in Sweden, we’re on our way to becoming the world’s most effective retail system, delivering to thousands of Scandinavian doorsteps every week.

As part of our team, you’ll work with smart, passionate colleagues who bring their whole selves to work every day. It’s a fast-moving, collaborative environment where everyone is welcome and everyone’s opinion matters. Whether you're shaping the future of online retail, tackling complex logistical problems, or making everyday life better for our customers, your work will have real impact. Read on to find out what part you could play in our story.

Our world-class logistics and tech solutions allow us to reduce food waste, save time and money, and ease the mental and physical load for people who want more space for life.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to join Oda!

As a Maintenance Manager at our Lier warehouse, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, handling issues and incidents that affect operations, and ensuring equipment is developed and upgraded according to our guidelines and plans. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations and compliance with health and safety standards. Together with your team of four maintenance technicians and one forklift responsible, you will develop and lead proactive solutions to support the daily workflow.

What you’ll be doing as Maintenance Manager
  • Ensure operational reliability across our value chain.

  • Support both corrective and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment.

  • Improve existing machinery and introduce new equipment, automation, and machines.

  • Manage spare parts and equipment inventory, ensuring availability when needed.

  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

  • Lead and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and supervision.

  • Manage the maintenance budget, balancing costs with quality service.

  • Have the overall responsibility for ensuring the swift handling of critical issues, troubleshooting, and analyzing solutions to prevent recurrence while maintaining operational uptime. You will be part of an on-call rotation where the team of technicians and one forklift responsible collaborate to manage incidents.

To thrive in this role, we believe you’ll enjoy working hands-on in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working in a dynamic setting where every day presents new challenges. The role requires you to adapt quickly, collaborate across teams, and keep things running smoothly with a focus on continuous improvement and safety. 🏭

What you’ll need to succeed 🌟
  • Relevant education and experience: A background in electrical, automation, industrial mechanics, or engineering. At least 4 years of experience in a technical role with knowledge of control systems (e.g., PLC-Siemens S7) and production IT.

  • Maintenance skills and interest: Experience using an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to track and manage maintenance activities.

  • Budget management: Ability to manage maintenance budgets, optimize resource usage, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.

  • Clear communication skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical matters clearly, including to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to make quick, effective decisions in changing situations.

  • Safety focus: A strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Fluency in English: As English is our working language, fluency in English is required. Understanding and speaking Norwegian is a plus.

  • Experience with people management: Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a team, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
