Martin 000-28 Acoustic Guitar.

Martin 000-28. Purchased new by me at Coda Music, England in March 2003 (original receipts available), so now 21 years old. In excellent condition, and plays beautifully - never gigged or taken from the house. No “buckle rash” on the back. There is a tiny (2mm) mark on the front lower bout, (see pink arrow), which is a slight dent / ding but very shallow, and the finish is not broken. Also, some very feint marks on the pickguard (which is what it is for!) – I have tried to show them in the picture, but as I said, they are very few, and feint.

There is some microscopic crazing in the lakk of the upper bouts, (NOT in the wood!), this is due to the age of the guitar. There is minor fret wear on lower frets.

The case is in great condition. Reason for sale is that I have arthritis in both hands, so I am selling my guitars as they are too painful to play now.

I will not send this guitar for 2 reasons: (1) I want any prospective buyer to see and play the guitar – my assessment may differ from that of another person. (2) I once bought a Gibson SG in Canada, and by the time it got here, the case was trashed! Luckily, the guitar was fine, and an electric guitar is a bit tougher than an acoustic, but because of the value of this guitar, I will not risk it going by post.
