Sales Director - Offshore Wind

As we expand into the international offshore wind energy market, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to spearhead this exciting new venture.

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Director to lead our entry into the international (European) offshore wind energy segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, a solid understanding of the offshore wind energy market, and the ability to forge strategic partnerships.

Location: Regular presence at company HQ in Oslo is desirable, but the right candidate can work out of any market relevant country in central/northern Europe.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the European wind energy market.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Secure pre-qualification with relevant European clients/parties.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.

  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth within the offshore wind segment.

Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in sales or business development within the renewable sector, preferably in wind energy market.

  • Strong network within the international wind energy market.

  • Strong strategic planning and strategy execution skills.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business discipline.
