Senior Infrastructure Engineer

At No Isolation, your work has real impact. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, tasked with ensuring that everything runs smoothly and securely. Without solid infrastructure, nothing runs — this role is mission-critical.

We work with technology that intersects IoT, SaaS, and mobile platforms, and we’re looking for someone with extensive hands-on experience working with infrastructure automation (IaC), production grade system design, security and observability. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

📍 Location: We are primarily looking for candidates based in Oslo, where our engineering team is located.

You will be directly responsible for the very backbone of our technical operations and as such will have a lot of responsibility from day one. You will, together with the rest of the engineering team, be tasked with ensuring high availability and smooth operations throughout our entire infrastructure. The majority of our infrastructure is built with Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) while leveraging various managed services to complete our infrastructure landscape. We are now in the need of someone who can take us to the next level.

• Maintain and improve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and scalability

• Automate everything – deployment, scaling, monitoring and maintenance through the use of IaC tools

• Implement security best practices – secure systems through proactive threat detection and compliance measures

• Optimize cloud resources – cost efficiency, scaling strategies, and performance tuning

• Monitor system health & troubleshoot proactively – use observability tools to detect and fix issues before they become problems

• Collaborate with backend engineers – improve deployment workflows, resolve infrastructure challenges, and build scalable solutions together

  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining high availability infrastructure and strong knowledge of infrastructure best practices with regards to security and reliability

• Several years of professional experience working with kubernetes

• Strong expertise working with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

• Experience in managing and optimizing cloud environments (AWS preferred, but Azure or other relevant cloud platforms are also valuable)

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with networking, observability, and disaster recovery strategies

• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles is a plus

• Working proficiency in English
